The 1.8M Darwin Bench, with its extra thick legs and overall heavier structure, makes it a perfect choice.
Constructed from highly durable pine, it is well suited for Schools, Hospitals, City Parks and domestic home use.
The Darwin Bench is kiln-dried and pre-treated to category 3, giving it a ten-year-plus life span. A yearly treatment of a sealer or a protector will further increase the life span.
Add a fitted cushion in a choice of four sumptuous colours.
As part of the weathering process pine cracks will appear, this is the normal behaviour of the timber and the bench was designed with this in mind, its strength and durability will remain unaffected.

Softwood is a natural material which can twist and split during periods of wet/dry, and hot/cold weather. If cracks do appear it is a natural occurrence and not a fault with the product or material. The best way to treat this is to use a cloth and rub a little PVA wood glue into the crack and once dry sand the area lightly. This will not affect the treatment of the product.
