Mango hardwood is considered as eco-friendly due to the fact that it is largely used after the useful, fruit-bearing harvest is over.
Spalting is commonly present in this hardwood leading to the wonderful kaleidoscope of colours that are demonstrated perfectly in this S-Shaped Table.
The heartwood is a classic golden-brown surrounded by the more yellow-coloured older wood, offering a sumptuous two-tone effect that's further complimented by the shape of the carving.
The darker grain is highlighted to great effect in the top of the table and is made even more prominent by the kiln-drying process that's used. All corners are rounded off during carving for a more quality finish.
The underside is protected by a felt pad for extra protection and the table is delivered in a sturdy box so it reached you in tip-top condition.
