Handcrafted from genuine reclaimed teak root, each Ikal Planter is a truly one-of-a-kind piece, making it completely bespoke to the individual buyer.
Carefully selected teak root sections are individually chosen for their natural character, then expertly cut and shaped to highlight the organic form of the wood. Each planter is meticulously finished to a smooth, refined surface, enhancing the natural grain and contours.
A light resin finish is then applied, providing subtle protection while preserving the authentic beauty and texture of the teak. The result is a striking, natural planter that blends craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless design—perfect for adding organic elegance to any indoor or outdoor space.

This beautiful timber has fantastic character and the reclaimed root sections have huge rustic appeal as well.
It is far superior to any other timber, particularly when used outdoors due to an abundance of natural oils and a very dense grain.
In time the natural ageing process will turn the root section a silver-grey patina which will add to the overall character in general.
