The slats have rounded ends and straights in the finish and are cut from responsibly sourced pine wood.
A solid platform designed with rounded edges and curved lines offers stability to the seating platform and makes the whole thing softer on the eye.
The FSC Certified Pine is kiln-dried and pre-treated to Category 3 giving it an average 10-year life span. It is a good idea to apply a protector or sealant yearly to further increase its life.
The Lilly Bench comes flat-packed and requires assembly with all the tools to do this ten-minute job included in the box on delivery.
Looks great when assembled in bulk for commercial environments.
And is particularly well-suited to orchards, public spaces, forested parks and the like where the design blends in with the environment around it.

Softwood is a natural material which can twist and split during periods of wet/dry, and hot/cold weather. If cracks do appear it is a natural occurrence and not a fault with the product or material. The best way to treat this is to use a cloth and rub a little PVA wood glue into the crack and once dry sand the area lightly. This will not affect the treatment of the product.
