Teak Root Stand with Blown Glass Holders ...
The teak root stand is totally bespoke and made from individually selected sections of teak root making each one unique.
The glass bowls are heated, blown and shaped.
For the final touch the heated glass is then pressed against the teak root so it shapes itself around the profile of the root itself.
This beautiful timber has fantastic character and the reclaimed root sections have huge rustic appeal as well.
It is far superior to any other timber, particularly when used outdoors due to an abundance of natural oils and a very dense grain.
In time the natural ageing process will turn the root section a silver-grey patina which will add to the overall character in general.
