How do you make a difference?
“Well, obviously I’m made from upcycled metals to start with and the skilled crafts-people in Vietnam who make me get a better quality of life because they get paid a living wage to do it.”
How do you cope with being outside all the time?
“The metals I’m made from are designed to cope with harsh weather conditions as standard – this is then passed on to me as I’m made. Also, my UV Resistant enamel-coating gives me added protection and helps me get a better sun tan in the summer months.”
Obviously you’re made over and over again … are all Yuki’s the same?
“No. We’re all completely hand made - this makes me and all my cousins totally unique to the people who buy us.”
What are your best qualities?
I’ve got curvy but sturdy feet meaning I can stay upright on any surface – however uneven. My flower compartments have holes for drainage purposes and a plug when you need me to hold the water and feed the plants I look after.”
