Our Rattan when used in its natural 'unpeeled' form looks like bamboo. When peeled, it can be stained, sanded, polished and matt vanished. This immensley strong but very light material is then made into furniture that will last for years.
Lampakanai is a fine, fully sustainable inland grass, indigenous to the Philippine Islands. This grass is spun to produce and ultra smooth texture ideal for weaving (unlike inferior coarse sea grass). This traditional method has been used by philippino craftsmen for generations.
These beautifully styled frames are complimented by upholstery from a carefully chosen range of fabrics created by internationally acclaimed design houses to deliver a contemporary or traditional look. The cushions are made using high density or reflex foam that provides comfort, support and superb recovery to maintain cushion shape.
